Shipping

When the shipment is Waiting for shipping, with Next progress choose:

  • Ship – the goods leave the warehouse.
  • Ship + Make an invoice – shipping and invoicing in one step.
  • Make an invoice – an invoice for a shipment that has already shipped.

Sales invoice

The invoice is what the customer owes. It can be made from an order, from a shipment, or directly from SalesSales invoices.

Processing

An invoice made from an order or a shipment is processed right away. A direct invoice is approved first, then with Next progress choose:

  • Process invoice – the invoice enters the customer's balance.
  • Process invoice + Make a shipment – and the goods ship, in one step.
  • Process invoice + Make a shipment(Wait for shipping) – the invoice is processed, the goods wait to leave.

Processing a direct invoice checks the customer's credit limit again. An invoice made from an order or a shipment isn't checked, since the limit was checked when the order was approved.
